How Many Days Per Week Should You Actually Train?

The sweet spot for most people
For general fitness and most goals, two to four strength sessions per week is the sweet spot. Two sessions can produce excellent results when programmed well, and three is ideal for most people balancing training with a busy life.
Consistency beats intensity
Training three days a week every week for a year will always beat training six days a week for three weeks before burning out. Choose a frequency you can sustain, then stay consistent.
